we're almost at the end of the first month in a new year. school's full swing, but nothing's all that exciting. no intriguing, mind-boggling class, no philosophical brilliant teacher, nothing ever outstanding about school. the status quo is horrible. i'm sure there are others who have worse times than i do in school. i just wish the teachers showed a little more enthusiasm about teaching. seriously, i had the worse lecture ever in my school life today. he's some big-shot researcher who obviously doesn't care much for teaching, because he was delivering (read: reading off the slides) in a monotone. to top that off, he was delivering a lecture about bioinformatics...something about using the databases available..(or something).
no one to pose questions that stretch my mind. no lectures to sit through, where for two hours, i'm completely enthralled and enraptured. i miss usp classes. i obviously think, but mostly to myself, which isn't quite as much fun. there are only so many people around me who will go into deep philosophies and theories with me (really just jack and amandae. adri come home soon...)
maybe i'll start putting this blog to good use, ranting about the evils of capitalism and obscure other nuggets of information i may discover through my long whinging days. stay tuned!! (:
